In summer 2017 we opened our first Micro Internship position, offering valuable work experience and training across all areas of our campsite. Now, we’re ready to start talking about 2018.
We’ll be looking for two Micro Interns to join us in July 2018 to spend some time with us at our Gloucestershire based office, before heading up to Edinburgh Festival Camping from late July to beginning of September. The internships are a paid position, and the successful applicant will be someone looking for a career in tourism, hospitality and/or events.
The role on site will vary from providing customer services, assisting with staff training, helping create the site, leading the Front of House and housekeeping teams, and helping with the operational tasks needed to create the campsite.
Candidates must be self-motivated, team players with the ability to prioritise and lead a small team of volunteers. Attention to detail and an understanding of is essential.
The Volunteer Programme will be in it’s fourth year, offering an opportunity for people to volunteer for four hours per day in exchange for accommodation during the prestigious Edinburgh Festivals. Open for the duration of the Festivals, our campsite attracts visitors and performers from all over the world.
