These terms and conditions apply every time you access or use www.campingninja.com (the “Website”) so please read them carefully.

By accessing, registering or using our Website, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.  We may vary these terms and conditions at any time and such modifications will become effective immediately upon posting of the modified terms on the Website. By continuing to use the Website following any such variation, you will be deemed to have accepted such variation.

 

CAMP CARDIFF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Upon arrival, wrist bands will be provided and secured to your wrist. These are not transferable. No entry without a valid wristband for an area will be permitted.

No entry to the site will be permitted prior to the initial check in time unless previously arranged.

You are requested to respect your neighbours whilst camping with us. Anti social behaviour will not be tolerated, in the event of antisocial behaviour you will be removed from site without refund.

Sound systems are not permitted.

The consumption of alcohol by persons under 18 years of age is strictly prohibited under the terms of the event licence. Glass bottles are permitted within pitches, caravans and tents, however walking around the site with open glass bottles is prohibited. We strongly recommend the use of plastic bottles and cups. Broken glass should be cleaned up immediately.

Smoking is permitted within pitches and open areas; we kindly request all cigarette ends are disposed of safely and not on the grass.

No illegal substances are permitted to be brought into the camp site – you may be searched and may be arrested should these be found.

No water source should be deemed drinking water unless specifically labeled as such to keep yourself and all campers safe.

No Open Fires, Disposable BBQ’s, Chinese Lanterns or Fireworks are permitted on site.

Please ensure your party all know where the fire point is.

Please respect the fire safety rules.

When camping, only use purpose built gas stoves with small gas bottles (2.2kg).

Generators are not permitted.

Please ensure your party knows where the first aid point/lost child point is and how to request help (contact a steward).

In the event of needing emergency medical assistance, or any help at any time please contact any steward, or security staff who are able to radio colleagues for assistance.

Should a camper not respect and adhere to campsite rules we reserve the right to evict a camper/campers without refund.

Campers are requested to leave the site by the check out time given.

We do not accept liability either in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss, damage or theft of any personal belongings, equipment or possessions. Anything left at the campsite is left at the owner’s risk. All visitors are urged to keep valuables, caravans, tents and vehicles secure.

 

Loss and damage to Pre-pitched tents and Bell tents

We exclude to the fullest extent permitted by law our liability to you for loss or damage resulting from your use of the tent or equipment.

As lead booker, you are responsible for the behaviour of all members of your group and will be liable for any loss or damage to the tent, the site where it is located or its contents during their stay. It is your responsibility to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury when using the tent. You will also ensure that you and your party comply with all rules set down by the event organisers.

You will not subject the tent to any misuse or wear and tear inconsistent with normal and reasonable use, complying, where applicable, with manufacturer recommendations or any other reasonable requirements that we notify you of.

The tent is a public space and you will not smoke inside it. You will further not use a naked or other type of flame in, on or around the Pre-pitched tent or Bell tents.

The Hirer will not cook within the immediate confines of the hired tent in case of the risk of fire.

Any dispute between us and you arising from the rental or use of the tent or these terms and conditions is governed by English law.

Booking Conditions

At least one member of the booked party must be 18 or over at the date of stay. No groups of solely under 18’s will be permitted entry.

 

This campsite is a pre-pitched tent campsite only. Anything which is included in the booking is in the descriptions of the booking item.

 

Making a booking

When you make a booking through the Website you agree to pay the amount requested whether a deposit or full amount.

Where the Campsite Information is showing availability and you make a booking and pay the amount in full, a confirmation email setting out the details of your booking will be sent out. Please check your spam / junk mail if it is not in your Inbox.

 

Cancellation and Change Policy

Upon paying the full balance the following cancellation policy will apply for all Camp Cardiff bookings:

 

You are requested to disclose the team you support to enable us to process refunds upon your request, as per the following; if your team does not get through the Quarter Finals or Semi Finals, you will have 24 hours from when your team is eliminated to cancel your booking to receive a full refund minus a £15 admin fee, otherwise you will be subject to our standard cancellation policies. If you do not disclose the team you support, then our standard cancellation policy applies.

 

Any changes to a booking will be subject to a £15 admin fee. If a change is made and it has a lower value than the original booking amount, the difference will be subject to the cancellation fees below.

 

Cancellations – you will be refunded the following % of your total payment:

70% – over 120 days before the campsite opens

50% – between 120 and 61 days before the campsite opens

25% – between 61 and 7 days before the campsite opens

0% – 7 days before the campsite opens

 

If for any reason Campingninja has to cancel your booking you will be refunded any balance you have paid for your booking.

 

Some camp site rules:

No sleeping in Vans or Cars in the car park is permitted.

No dogs or pet animals of any description are permitted (unless you have a dog to aid you due to a disability).

Generators are not permitted to be brought onto the site.
You are requested to respect your neighbours whilst camping with us. Anti social behaviour will not be tolerated, in the event of antisocial behaviour you will be removed from site without refund.

Use of your information

Please look at our Privacy Policy (www.campingninja.com/privacy), which sets out how we may use information provided by or collected from you when accessing or using the Website to ensure you understand our practices.

 

Your responsibilities

Insurance and health – we recommend that you have appropriate and adequate travel insurance and health documentation in place at the time of booking and take the necessary documentation with you.

Special requests – please notify the Campingninja directly of any special requirements.  We cannot guarantee that such requests can be met and have no liability to you in respect of them.

Appropriate behaviour – you are solely responsible for any loss or damage caused by you or a member of your party.  In the event that a Campsite land owner or other supplier brings any claim against us or otherwise seeks to recover any loss or damage resulting from your actions from us, you will be responsible for meeting such claims.

If you or any member(s) of your party are in breach of any of these terms and conditions, infringe the rights of any third parties or contravene any applicable law or regulation we reserve the right to cancel your booking without refund or compensation.  We shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense resulting from your incorrect, incomplete or missing documentation or not compliance with official requirements.

Our Role

We create and operate campsite/s in various locations throughout the year.  The campsites we operate can be found on the website campingninja.com.

When you use the Website you acknowledge that the information may have inaccuracies.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred as a result of your access to/use of information provided by Campingninja.  You are solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy or completeness of any information accessed via the Website.

When you make a booking, your contract for the pitch or other facilities/services will be with Campingninja.

You accept that we have not in any way selected or assembled your travel arrangements for you.  Your accommodation arrangements are not a package and do not fall within the meaning of the Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tour Regulations 1992 nor the Civil Aviation (Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing) Regulations 1995.

 

Liability

In the event that Camping Ninja has any liability to you in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise in relation to your use of the Website or otherwise, it is limited to the amount of the deposit paid to us only.

We exclude all liability of any kind in respect of any failure to do what we have promised because of something beyond our reasonable control such as technical failure, lightning, flood, exceptionally severe weather, fire or explosion, civil disorder, war, military operations, industrial disputes of any kind (including those involving our employees), natural or local emergency, anything done by government or other competent authority.

We do not accept liability either in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for direct or indirect loss of profits, income, business or anticipated savings, nor for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including, without limitation, loss or destruction of data, or other information.

We do not accept liability either in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss, damage or theft of any personal belongings, equipment or possessions. Anything left at the campsite is left at the owner’s risk.

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall operate to exclude or limit the liability of Camping Ninja for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Each provision of these terms and conditions excluding or limiting liability operates separately. If any part is held by a court to be unreasonable or inapplicable, the other parts shall continue to apply.

 

Your use of the Website

We may suspend or restrict access to the whole or any part of the Website for operational reasons at any time.

We reserve the right to monitor your use of the Website in order to maintain the Website and to protect the rights of content owners and other users of the Website

You must not use the Website or any information contained on it:

for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, or in connection with a criminal offence or other unlawful activity;

to send, receive, upload, download, use or reuse any material that is illegal, offensive, abusive, malicious, threatening, racist, indecent, defamatory, derogatory, obscene, menacing, or otherwise objectionable;

to harass, stalk, inconvenience, cause annoyance or needless anxiety to any person, impersonate any other person or act in a way which may reasonably be objectionable or is otherwise injurious to third parties;

in any way that breaches copyright, trademark, confidence, privacy or infringes the intellectual property rights of Camping Ninja or others;

other than for your own private and personal use and not for any commercial purposes or to send commercial advertising or promotional material;

in any way that causes, or is likely to cause, the Website or access to the Website to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way; and/or

in any way that impacts other users’ use and enjoyment of the Website or services made available through it.

Where you create, upload or publish any content (including without limitation any user review or rating) on the Website, you are responsible for the creation, maintenance and design of all such material. In particular, you warrant that:

all contributions will be civil, tasteful and otherwise in accordance with the requirements of these terms and conditions;

the information in your possession and provided by you will not constitute a criminal offence or be otherwise unlawful;

all necessary licences and consents (including those from owners of copyrights or performing rights) have been obtained to upload or publish the materials on the Website.

You accept that we are under no obligation to edit, review or modify any content provided by you or any third party and that we do not examine the use to which the Website is put, unless expressly stated otherwise. However, we reserve the right to remove any content, in whole or in part, at our sole discretion if we believe that there may be a breach of these terms and conditions or if the content does not comply with our notified requirements.

We do not claim ownership of any content you submit or make available via the Website. However, by submitting or making available any content on the Website (including any text, photographs, graphics, video or audio) you agree to grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sub-licensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, play, make available to the public, and exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to your material worldwide and/or to incorporate your contribution in other works in any media now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in your contribution as we may require. We will not identify you personally as the creator of the content unless you provide your express consent. If you do not want to grant us the rights set out above, please do not submit content to the Website.

Intellectual property rights in all services, content, software and documentation supplied by us remain our property or that of our licensors and we expressly reserve all rights not expressly granted by us.

The word or mark “Camping Ninja” however represented, including stylised representations, all associated logos and symbols, and combinations of any of the foregoing with another word or mark, are our trademarks. You shall not make any use of the trademarks except as permitted by these terms and conditions.

General

If we delay in acting upon a breach of these terms and conditions by you, that delay will not be regarded as a waiver of the breach. If we do waive a breach of these terms and conditions by you, that waiver is limited to the particular breach.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be illegal or unenforceable the remainder of these terms and conditions will not be affected and the provision in question will be deemed modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.
The contract created by your acceptance of these terms and conditions is governed by English law and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

In these terms and conditions, any reference to “we” “us”, “our” or “Camping Ninja” refers to Camping Ninja Limited (registered company number 07042030) and any reference to “you” or “your” refers to you, the user of the Website (including any person who we reasonably believe is acting with your authority or knowledge). References to “Campsite(s)” means a campsite and/or other services/facilities listed on the Website.
