GC2018 announces more tickets to be released

We dare say it’s been a mad few months for the Games Organisers at GOLDOC. When tickets sales closed in May this year, they had the mad task of processing 1.2 million visitors’ ticket requests. This process has now come to an end.

The organisers have just announced that they will be closing sales from now until 20 November so they can finalise seating arrangements to try to enable as many people as possible to enjoy the Games. They’ll be pooling unallocated tickets along with creating new tickets based on the final seating designs… this means if you missed your favourite sport before, you might still be able to get yourself your first pick!

The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games are being held at 15 venues on the Gold Coast, as well as 2 further venues north into Queensland in Cairns and Townsville. The Gold Coast already had a name for itself as being a top destination for sports training, with a number of world class athletics training facilities. We can’t wait to see the city buzzing with GC2018 energy!

Tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis, so once these new tickets have been released at MIDDAY on 20th November, it’ll be up to you to act quickly to secure your tickets! No pressure!

If you are buying tickets, make sure you have the experience you pay for and only buy tickets from the official GC2018 site. We wouldn’t trust other sources, so we recommend you don’t either!
