12 Mar Edinburgh Festival Fringe Participant Accommodation Deal
There’s great news for participants at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer as we have been talking to the Fringe Society to ensure we have a great value accommodation solution tailored to suit your needs – from just £10 per night (special participants rates, which are also applicable to any crew or participants attending one of the big 6 festivals in Edinburgh).
As you will be residing at the festival for up to 4 weeks you need the sort of comfort and a space that will allow you to relax from the madness festival when you are not performing… And that is exactly what we are offering. Our campsites are renowned for their relaxed, friendly atmosphere and for events like London 2012 and Glasgow 2014 our volunteer villages became a home away from home for the many hundreds of volunteers and contractors who stayed with us for up to 8 weeks! Within the lovely leafy setting of the Royal Highland Centre we will be setting up a dedicated area for performers and crew ONLY with a comfy chill out zone, where you can relax and share your experiences from the festival and other events on the circuit with other performers. Or if you prefer you can soak up some of the atmosphere and unwind at our campsite bar or grab yourself a well earned home cooked hot meal at the hub! Performers can also use the campsite’s very own breakfast stage to rehearse and promote their acts to the campers – and have great fun along the way.
Not only are we offering you an exclusive camping area but we are also offering you reduced rates on your stay when you book for 10 nights or more to make performing more affordable! The Fringe is open to everyone and that’s exactly what we aim to support by making staying at the festival as cheap as possible BUT without skimping on the necessary comforts. Pre-pitched tents and Premium pitches are also still available for participants and if that wasn’t enough we are also offering a 100% MONEYBACK GUARANTEE if your show is not selected by a venue – meaning you can book now and secure the best rates whether you have your slot confirmed or not!
Rhian Evans Director at Campingninja comments:
“Camping is incredibly social and means that participants travelling to the show on their own or in small groups can spend their down time with other like minded people and share their experiences from the festival and other events they do on the circuit. Many volunteers and contractors who have previously stayed on our sites still keep in touch with friends they have made and even hold reunions – I’m not joking!”
“We want performers to have a space away from the madness of the festival where they can unwind, grab a hot shower, a tasty home cooked meal and a beer – and reset themselves for the next show! We get that for a lot of first timers especially, performing at the Fringe can be daunting and exhausting and it’s nice to know you have a space to come back to that’s less full on where you can feel looked after.”
And don’t just take our word for it…Hilary, Games Maker at London 2012:
“I thoroughly enjoyed the camping, and in some respects just as much as completing my Olympic role. It was like having a ‘family’ while living in London.”
