13 Jan Camp Bordeaux is launched for Euro 2016 in France
We’re very happy to announce the launch of Camp Bordeaux by Campingninja in France for Euro 2016.
Many of the key European Championships matches are being held in Bordeaux and nearby Toulouse including 2 key fixtures for Wales, against Slovakia and Russia as well as The Republic of Ireland’s encounter with Belgium. All fixtures covered as well as a location map are below:
What’s provided at Camp Bordeaux?
We aim to take any of the thinking out of camping so you can concentrate on having a great time and soaking up the wonderful Euro 2016 atmosphere. So, we provide fully kitted out pre-pitched tents with linen, beds, tables and chairs (and much much more in our luxury pack) as well as great on-site facilities including great standard showers and toilets, bars, big screen tvs, decent and good value food, free charging points and travel / transport planning services to name but a few.
Where is Camp Bordeaux located?
Camp Bordeaux is based at a sports club in a great location with easy public transport access into Bordeaux city centre as well as to the stadium in Bordeaux. Local amenities – shops, bars etc will all be in easy reach nearby too.
Will there be transfers to matches in Toulouse and further afield?
Transfers will be available to book, at a later date, for all the Toulouse matches (including Wales vs Russia (18th June); Spain vs Czech Republic (13th June ) and Italy vs Sweden (17th June)). We are also planning on putting on a limited number of transfers to Lens and back for the England vs Wales match on 16th June.
Who is the Bordeaux Euro 2016 Campsite for?
We welcome anyone and everyone who is a football fan from anywhere in Europe or the world! This is a truly international fan camp with an international flavour which will really add to the atmosphere. We expect everyone to come and camp with us with the spirit of having a good time. We do expect there to be large contingents of Wales and Ireland supporters as well as Spain and Belgium fans too; not forgetting those from Slovakia, Austria, Hungary and Croatia (for Bordeaux matches) as well as Italy, Czech Republic, Sweden and Russia (for Toulouse matches)
How much does it cost to camp at Camp Bordeaux?
The prices are from £30 per person per night (a budget tent based on 2 sharing) with a 3 night minimum stay. For a Premium Pitch it is £35 per person per night and for the ultimate experience you could stay in a luxury bell tent with all the trimmings for £70 per person per night. What else is going on in Bordeaux?
Bordeaux is home to one of the biggest Euro 2016 Fan Zones in the city centre which will be easily accessible from our camping site. Aside from that it is a wonderful city full of great restaurants, bars and wine! It’s not far to get to some stunning beaches and you’re never that far away from a vineyard either. Lots to experience and lots to do in Bordeaux and as it’s based in the South West of France it’s guaranteed to be warm and have a very decent amount of sunshine!
